Connor Baxter with a third place in the technical race got second place overall behind fellow Hawaiian Mo Freitas.

For the women, Sonni Hönscheid, the newest Dream Team member won the women’s division in front of also her teammate and current world champion Fiona Wilde. Fiona With a third place in the technical race also took the second place overall behind Terenne Black and in front of third place Sonni Honscheid.

Sonni commented on the long distance race:

“The APP long distance was held at one off the worlds best downwinder stretches “The Maliko Run” – today was a nowinder – but still a great experience to paddle this amazing run, specially on the Allstar it was the perfect board to be on – good in the flat but I was also able to catch every single little bump. I had a good start coming out at Maliko and was able to pull away from the other girls getting into my own rhythm. The competition was really strong, so I´m really happy of crossing the line in first place and I can´t wait for the next race! “
