Starbaord’s Roman Frejo Winning Throughout Spain
Team Rider Roman Frejo is winning in Spain. In the past two races Roman took fist in the San Vicente de la Barquera event and first in the SUP distance race at Port Adriano.
Here is a recap from Roman:
The first race event of the Spanish tour took place in San Vicente de la Barquera. There were two days full of action. The long distance race was challenging in the cold temperatures with some gusty wind between 10 and 20 knots. About twenty participants raced nine laps in a flatwater course between bouys that formed a triangle. I took the lead of the race since the first minute and had a nice gap growing with each lap.
The beach race had similar results, as again I was in the lead position since the beginning of the race.
“i’m very happy winning the first event of the season in Spain, I feel very good with the new equipment because it’s first time i used the new paddles and they work insanely good!”

Roman was using the new Starboard Sprint 12’6×25” for both races, and this season is also using Starboard Paddles the high aspetc 600 for long distance and the hisg aspect 500 for beach races and sprints.
