The Highland Spring 2010 HiHo.

The British Virgin Islands HIHO Event was truly as amazing race with absolutely the greatest venue!
What a perfect way to explore the island chains by the way of Stand Up Paddling.

The racing was great fun but only one part of this incredible event.
Taking turns with 1st and 2nd place wins, ending up with 2nd overall and 1st in 12' 6" class on my Starboard (NEW ).
My beautiful wife Andie, also raced the Starboard (PIN ) and won the women's category.

For me the most rewarding of all was to introduce, to many for the first time, the Sport of SUP.

Everyone was able to participate in SUP relays, including windsurfers, Children and even the skippers gave it a go!
I have made many new friends from all over the world and will always remember the smiling faces for years to come.

Other highlights, was having such amazing friends aboard our 40' catamaran, which included legendary Mickey Munoz and Lance Erickson.

Another plus, was sitting in with the band at the pirate party, winning the Rock n Roll award!

What a awesome experience,and already looking forward to going back in 2011.
