Anne Marie Reichman and Nikki Gregg are shooting with Standup Paddle Magazine
The weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of January is fun, vibrant plus... there is a lot of pozing and paddling going on!

From Margareta, my team manager from Star-Board, I receive an email a few weeks ago to join a SUP girls- photo shoot organized by 'Standup Paddle Magazine' located on Oahu Hawaii. The shoot is for SUP girls by SUP girls. Different brands SUP boards, SUP paddles, swimwear, 'athletic wear', shoes and sunglasses are shot by professional photographers and their staff. I am stoked that Star-Board and Roxy are involved in this shoot so I can represent my personal sponsors.
Reid, the editor of the magazine came up with a fun idea to gather his 'models' with different SUP levels. Pro paddlers, intermediate paddlers and beginners are all part of the shoot as women with all different levels can identify themselves this way with the girls who are used in this shoot. Plus the 'models' are real paddlers; which I think is cool.
Nikki Greg was one of the other girls invited for the shoot. She is my Star-Board team mate and we never met... until then!
We come to the conclusion that we have a lot of things in common with our traveling lifestyle and our personalities. We both enjoy sharing stories and topics that come with our 'special life'. Even our boyfriends have the same name; Dan!
After the first day shooting and before dinner, we decide to take the new Star-Board "POD" 7'4" x 29.5" (comes in Camo, Candy, Blue touch) for a walk into town. Nikki and I come to the conclusion that... besides having "Pod and ourselves" blessed by THE Duke, 'Pod' really doesn't mind the city. She can hang out while you shop, she is friendly in busy traffic and... if you live 5 stories high, she can take the stairs to stay healthy and in shape. We love 'POD'! (we mean the board and NOT the grass...)
In the water, we managed to test her in small waves. A few extra paddle strokes are required to get her going. Once in the wave she moves and responds quick and easy. We both agreed that we cannot wait to try POD out in bigger waves! (oh yeah... action pictures will be shown in the magazine! - these are strictly pozing
)
